how do i clean/lube the trigger action if there's no rear trigger guard screw?

    how do i clean/lube the trigger action if there's no rear trigger guard screw?

    on the marlin 925r theres only a front takedown screw and rear takedown screw but no trigger guard screw. how would i go about removing the trigger then? it seems that the trigger guard is part of the stock.

    take the action and barrel off of the stock.

      wow the action looks pretty cool. first time ive ever removed the action from the stock so its almost awe-inspiring how simple and elegant a firearm is.
