      ^^^The kits are generally garbage, so stay away from them unless you plan on cleaning your rifle once. I use a quality one piece rod and carbon remover only. Once a year I'll remove the copper and do a more thorough cleaning for the bore. Bolt and action get serviced much more often.

        I have that cleaning kit, I use it for my scout. A lot of the guys in my previous unit used kits like that.

        I would suggest using Militech rather than the otis CLP thats provided. Militech worked wonders in Iraq. Just my 2 cents.
