savage 11/cal308

do any of u cal gunners know any thing about the savage model 11 chambered in 308 my girlfriend bought me 1 looks nice has a acutrigger but i can find any reviews ?? i wont know how it shoots for ten very very long days lol..

Great rifle. Savage makes a rifle that outshoots most others right out of the box. I would put a Leupold 3X9X40 or 3.5X10X40 scope on it and you will have a rifle that will serve you well for the rest of your life and then some. You will be happy with it.

I have or let's say had cause I've modified everything on. Not because it wasn't a good rifle but because I decided to go for a heavy bench rest rifle. It's accurate, solid, and the Accu trigger is awesome.

thanks 4 all the info i pick up a redfield 3-9x50 to put on it i look at the Leopold 3-9 and see no differences in the glass i have leopold 12x on my 22-250 and love it but opted for cheaper glass . any tips on upgrades

Depends on what you want it for? Hunting-leave it as is. Precision shooting-get a bull barrel, nice glass, and better stock.

I was never much of a believer in Savage rifles until I bought one and started shooting it. I've been converted.

Which model of Savage 11 is it?

I have a 11GNS and also a 10FP. Both in .308 and both very accurate.

I think a 11 fsnc but is has a wood stock calgunner said it was a 11fsnc. When i looked them up was a black synthetic model. so someone upgraded. I cant wait to put it on the rang..
