how do i date my old rem 700 22-250

hi not sure if im suppose to post this here. but i was wanting to learn how to date my rifles and shotguns is there a way to do it by serial #?? any tips will help. thanks

Yes, they will ask for the serial# and can give you the date it was manufactured. Then you can take her out for a good time.
