    RRA LAR-458 SOCOM Mags

Want to buy a .458. they legal in cali?
i know the .458 can use a 5.56 pmag which by cali law can only hold 10rds 5.56
my question if i make a 30rd mag to hold 10 rounds of .458 it will be able to hold more then 10rds 5.56 and since its theoretically a 5.56 mag how can i make it state legal?

      .458 is legal in california

Its only 50 caliber weapons that are prohibited based on the round size. I dont know about your other question.

close, but it is only 50BMG that is explicitly banned for SHOULDER FIRED RIFLES.

OP: Search the topic, this has been discussed numerous times.

Its a grey area. I wrote 458 Socom 10 rounds on my mags and use them only for the Socom. Is it legal? I dunno. Has anyone said anything about it? Nope.

It is perfectly legal to manufacture in California a 10rd .458-socom magazine. If that magazine also happens to hold 30 rounds of 5.56, that is also legal.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
