I recently ordered the correct bi-pod for my AES-10B and it requires the removal of the front site block to install. How hard is it to do so? Do I need any special tools?

Hammer and punch for the pins, shop press and ar15 multi wrench for pressing the front sight off. -
I just swapped out my PSL's front sight. Soak pins and FSB with some PB blaster for a little while, then use some flame (I used a long BBQ lighter) to heat up FSB at pins. Hammer and punch got the pins out (look for signs of which way the pins were hammered in first time and go the opposite way). Make sure to support your FSB and barrel.
Used the PB Blaster and heat again on the FSB and placed the muzzle down on a piece of soft pine 2x4 and used a piece of scrap wood 1x2 placed against the back of the fsb. Whacked it loose with hammer hitting scrap wood.
Replacing it was similar but in reverse. Added some lubriplate onto the insides of the FSB and on the pins. You could also use some anti-seize paste from a hardware store. Then whack it into place. I put rifle in a padded vise and leveled it, then adjusted FSB to be perpendicular to the top of the receiver rails. Finally, I removed it from vise, supported the FSB with some small wood blocks and drove the pins back in. Made an edit to the above... I said put the muzzlebrake down onto a block of wood, I meant muzzle (after removing the brake).
Trying to tap off a FSB with a threaded muzzle device ain't gonna work!

I give up, I got the pins out but I just can't get the block off. Tapped it with a block of wood and hammer and I even tried a brass punch and that thing won't come off. I soaked it with PB Blaster and applied heat and nothing. Anybody know of a gunsmith in the LA area?When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,

You might need to whack it side to side to get it started. Hit it with more PB Blaster, then lots of heat, then rock it side to side and finally forward.
