Glad all went OK. I've shot at that range a few times and have only heard good things about the people there. So sorry to hear they were so ignorant about the law.

jbush, I have shot there many times also and have had nothing but a great experience, and I do not think they are ignorant. The laws in California are so interruptive that dealers sometimes are over cautious. After doing my research on my particuliar rifle it really is quite black and white. I have a feeling now that they are also more informed.

Enjoy that hard-earned, stress inducing rifle! Glad you persevered and got your dealer to see the logic, but it sucks that you had to go through all of that stress and heartache to do so.
