Check out my Christmas present for my wife

i decided to build her a AR, since she liked mine so much and wanted to keep it for herself. lol, so i build her a 16" so she could handel it easier at the range. the rifle itself with no mag or optics weighs 7 lbs, with optics and empty mag 8lbs. I let her have my Bushnell holosight since she fell in love with it when she shot my rifle for the first time with it. lets just say she was stoked when i gave her the rifle today. i couldnt hide it from her till x-mas.
so what do you guys/gals think? nice gift or what?

Cool rifle. If she likes to shoot them you at least have her help you clean them. My girl likes to go shooting and when we get home,she offers to help me clean the guns.

i dont think i would let her clean them anyway. but i want her to know how. yesterday i showed her how to field strip and put back together, she will be a pro in no time.

i'd like to build the wifey one too, but she's a lefty. and i know she won't be shooting it much at all (kills me i got her a six shooter as xmas present last year) and she only took it out once. arrrghhh

she needs to shoot that more b4 i do a OLL for her.
