I tried searching for info as to why doesn't centerfire ship PSL/FPK receivers to CA.................. If anyone might have some answers thanks ahead for response.

Get on the horn and give them a call. Be sure to tell them you want a BARE receiver.

I spent a long time looking for a dealer for my PSL receiver - until someone else told me to call them up. They were ready to ship to my FFL as he'd done business with them before.

I have the Cugir receiver - so now I just need to try and build the thing. Maybe there will be another AK-build party in Sacto again someday..

Thanks so much for the info. I will call them up tomorrow to see what they can do. I should have my kit here this week by Wednesday. Then after I get my receiver out of jail I will start the building process

They do ship them to California - they just need to have the FFL on file. I got my PSL receiver through Robbie at Golden State Tactical. He's great, and made the process real easy.

Rob is my FFL guy to He is easy to deal with........... Oh and only reason I was asking this is because centerfire states they dont ship the receivers to CA under the item description. Thanks for the info guys

That's funny - when I bought my Romanian-made receiver from them (early December I think) the website didn't mention no sales to California.

It should read "Cannot be sold to residents of California (unless you phone us)"....

Do yourself a favor and try to get a Nodak Spud PSL receiver. I build my PSL using the Romanian one from Centerfire and it was a total b**** to work with, requiring TONS of grinding to get stuff to fit in, total hell. Get the Spud if you don't want ulcers.

Well the PSL receivers that Centerfire is selling now is a Nodak Spud receiver. Thats why I want one of them
