Their prices just went up a buck a box couple weeks ago.

    Was $5.97 / 20rds
    Now $6.97 / 20rds

This is for Federal / AE

I think the bulk box 100 pack of .223 Federal still work out more expencive too.

Freedom Munitions has their Blaster Training Ammo for $269 + shipping. You can also use the Chet-1 coupon code for 3% off, as long as it is your first order with them. Shipping is under $20. Figure under $0.29 per round shipped.

I'll be buying this in a week or two.
I'll second this. Ordered 1k from Freedom as above and shot 100 this weekend, no issues. Visual inspection of the first 500 rounds looked good. No missing primers, dents or damaged bullets.

For training ammo this is about as cheap as I could find. Decently fast order to ship/delivery time as well (about a week from order to my door).

Missed out on the Privi deal at Sgammo last week but the only bulk they have now is:

Which range are you doing the carbine class at? Prado or Burro? I believe Prado is picky about the ammo used, and you may not be able to use Wolf ammo there (I didn't look it up for sure, but I know the pistol course I took there they said no to steel cased rounds at Prado).

While lots of people posted good sites that's selling ammo, the reality is that even if you got your order in today, you're really cutting it close to get the ammo by Friday by UPS or whatever shipping company they use. In most cases, your order may not go out until Tuesday at the earliest, and then it could take anywhere from 2-5 business days to receive.

I'm not saying there aren't places that wouldn't be faster and guarantee you the ammo to your door step by Friday, but from my experience with buying ammo online (and even the week before a course I've taken... which the ammo showed up on Monday due to UPS lagging), I would seriously look locally to pick up ammo for an upcoming weekend event. That way you're not SOL come Friday afternoon when your package doesn't show up and you're left scrambling for ammo 12 hours before the class.
