Testing out the Franklin Armory CSW-V1.

I got in my Franklin Armory CSW-V1 today.

You can see my album over on Facebook.

I put on it a Trijicon Reflex RX30-23, some LMT rail panels for going from the hip, a YHM bipod mount for when I decide to put a Harris bipod on it, and it has a Surefire MB556K. The only downside is the way the Surefire suppressors ratchets on, I had to put more shims in than I wanted to get the Mini Suppressor to lock in tight. We will see if that affects the shooting at all. I might be able to lathe away a little more of the barrel to fix this in the future, but I am in no rush.

Tag this thread for some video after this weekend when I get some time!

This is clearly the shop model, but I do have a CSW-V1, a CSW-V4, and a CSW Kit in stock ready to ship. e-mail me if you are interested. sales@taftguns.com

No more sales though, this is a test thread! Ask your questions.

I don't think I understand, looks cool though! I thought the point of the spade grips was to use .50BMG. Nevermind I'll do a search.

You still could in theory do a .50 BMG single shot or side loader. This is just cheaper fun. Throw a .22 on there and have even more cheap fun. Put a .50 Beowulf on there and have fun. Or a 5.7x28mm and rock out 50 rounds.

It is just for fun. Just because you can and to show California you like really heavy, ineffective firearms that look scary.

Here is a little sample of some video to come! I should have it uploaded by the morning.

Hopefully Jay will come by and give us some specs on this finish on their bolt carriers and bolts. I really like it. This thing was pretty black after about 700 rounds today, but it kept on firing. Cleaning it up went pretty smooth.

Everyone definitely had fun shooting this bad boy today. Man Jay ain't kidding when he says this can get expensive. Glad it is all part of my marketing and advertising budget! I need to order some more PMC.

Looks more stable from your hip then on that tripod. Looks fun though

If you notice the video without the suppressor, the gun hardly rocks using that Surefire muzzle brake. Then with the suppressor, I noticed more recoil for sure.
