UK legal AR

Anybody familiar with the UK straight pull AR in UK. Saw it on youtube. If I build a straight pull AR do I need a BB, Featureless , or will it be classified like a bolt gun with mag?

The UK ban on semi-automatic rifles with calibers larger than .22LR has lead to some rifles that seem strange to our eyes. Try firing that thing rapidly while standing up and you'd have problems I would imagine....

American's in free states say the same thing about bullet buttons and grip wraps.

I've been thinking about doing a build like this, instead of a bolt gun.

An AR with a left side charging handle, no DI tube. I wonder if anyone has done one, and runs it with detachable mags.

I'd rather have that, than to only beable to have a bolt action.
