AK experts please help!

Well to be honest I need help with my AES-10B (Ak's bigger brother). I received my recoil buffer and my pin retaining plate from Brownell's today. After installing these items I started to cycle the bolt just to make sure everything was ok. On the 4th or 5th time of doing this a small, brass colored "C" clip popped out of somewhere in my rifle and can't figure out where it came from. I already checked on a couple exploded parts diagrams and none of them show a "C" clip. Was this a Century addition somewhere? Everything is still functioning just want to make sure it doesn't go kaboom when I actually shoot it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Ok, all kidding aside, check the Fire Control Group, make sure none of the pins coming out of their holes while you cycle the rifle ... ...

There shouldn't be any c-clips in your rifle. What kind of pin retainer was in the rifle before you put the plate in.

Also, take that recoil buffer and throw it in the f**king trash. Those things are about as useless as tits on a nun.

That clip was an alternative pin retainer. you probably knocked it off when you installed your retainer. no worries. carry on.
