Adding a detachable magazine to 700?

What do you need to do to make a detachable magazine for the Rem 700 LA? I'm interested in doing this for my hunting rifle. Thanks in advance.

There are kits that replace the bottom metal that use detachable mags. The kits that use the AICS mags seem to be the most popular. The stock does need to be modified to use the kit though.
