upper came with zip-tie wedged in the chamber help

my PSA upper came shipped with a zip-tie wedged in the chamber how do i get it out and pull the charging handle back? sorry in advance if this is a stupid question my first AR

I just pulled it out with my fingers when my fiance got hers, a multi tool could do it to.

ya its in there tight is it the reason i cant pull my charging handle back?

If for some reason its too tight to get a grip on with something I'd use an exacto knife and just kind of carefully push the blad down through the zip tie.

You mean its wedge to hold the BCG? How big/long is the zip tie? Have you tried pliers? Got a vice? try to clamp the other end so you can have some room to yank the upper, or you can also try to tie the other end with a thin wire and tie it somewhere, and yank it out.

if the locking mechanism is exposed, you can just use a toothpick of some sort and pull back the claw that's locked into the teeth, then pull it and undo it. this way you won't risk scratching anything

If all else failures... get a bigger hammer.

No seriously... get a a long wooden doe and stick it into the barrel, slowly tap the bolt back. As long as your bolt is not cammed shut, you should be able to tap it out.

Just use a dead blow hammer and tap on the charging handle.
