Hey guys I was wondering if one can get a legal sbr here in Cali. I've been thinking about building a krink or M92. Any info would be great!!

The short answer is no you can't get a SBR here in California. You can still build a M-92 or krink, however you must permanently attach a barrel extension to get to 16" on the barrel.

A M-92 ends up looking like this. The rear folder is also pinned so it cannot fold.

Krink. Stock is also pinned so it cannot fold.
    Poke'm with a stick!

you would still need a DWP, which is nigh impossible to obtain

AR pistol or AK pistol is the best normal folks can do here in CA.

In Ca, C&R SBRs can be obtained with a NFA trust or CLEO sign off. So, if you can find a +50 year old C&R SBR that you want, it's possible to buy it here!

This. SBR's must be C&R and original. Good luck.

The whole SBR thing is just silly, isn't it. A SBR is supposedly more dangerous somehow, but a AR15 or AK pistol is not? In what universe does that have any logic?

Short answer, NO, unless its C&R. but i would just get an AR pistol or an AK pistol. similar feel, and they wont get you thrown in jail for years on end.
