Ok, so I know the idea of replacing the M4 for the Army is nothing new, but I just thought I would share FN's latest entry into the carbine program, which is a slight variation of the SCAR-L.

Biggest difference (enter the ACR crowd
) is this version does NOT have a reciprocating charging handle, as required by the Army. Outside of that for those familiar with the SCAR platform the differences should be obvious, different backup sight configuration and the upper receiver is lacking a few of the vents.
