Air Gauged ??

Air gauged means it was just tested using an air gauge. You could have an air gauged barrel thats a piece of junk. You need to know the pass/fail tolerances of the barrel maker.
The wilson is a decent barrel. WOA uses their blanks, and after working their magic, they're great.
ETA: An air gauge is described as "a device used to compare a machined surface to a standard surface by assessing the rate of passage of air between them." This is done with the bore.Last edited by rksimple; 12-09-2007, 9:30 PM.GAP Team Shooter 5 -

I'd get a barrel from White Oak Armament. I'm a bit biased since I use their products, but I think they ship out good finished barrels.
