I hunted with blackpowder 20 years ago in Idaho for Elk.

I have a left handed TC Renegade .54 caliber charcoal burner but I haven't shot it in 15 years.

        Black powder

I shoot Black powder and have for the past 35 years. I currently own a .69
Caliber M1842 rifled musket, An 1842 Colt Patterson and An 1860 Army revolver. All Italian repros. Lots of fun, blowing holes in paper. I do not hunt.
Any one out there who has Spencer Carbine Repro or a Sharps military .45-70
        They'd like to trade off?

I've got the same gun. I took my first buck with it in '86. Did you get one of the "older" ones with a 1 in 66 twist or one of the "new" 1 in 48 twists barrels. I got lucky and found an 15 year old (in 1986) kit with a roundball barrel (1 in 66) when I built mine.

I've also got several C&B revolvers, a .45 TC Hawkins, a 12g SXS, a FL pistol, a cap lock pistol, a couple a cap lock derringer kits and a 3" mortar. I also have been playing with full size muzzleloading field artillary for about 10 years. I've been on "Mail Call" shooting cannons and turned down numerous other "industry gigs" due to my real job. I guess you could say that I have limited experiece.

Do you load them one at a time from the muzzle?

The OP just asked about BP. He never specified MLs only. So, BPCs would qualify!

Was that a special day for you to wear yer store bought shirt?

Love my smokepoles. I'll grab them before I take any of my Savages or Evil guns to the range or field.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

I happen to like that shirt.
Someone gave it to me for christmas a few years back.
I actually wear it almost every day that it's cold enough to need a long-sleeve shirt.
I was wearing it today until a couple hours ago when I kicked on the heater and set down to do some posts here.
