    AR15 forearm sizes

Does anyone know if the forearm that comes with the Stag M4 upper is larger than other M4 forearms? I held a Wilson forearm and it was smaller in diameter, enough so that I could mount my BUIS and Eotec 512 on the flat top with the Eotec hanging over the forearm. The Stag forearm is too large and won't allow the Eotec to "overlap".

There are two typical handguard sizes, regular "carbine" and the fat "M4".
Stag comes with the fat M4 style.
The smaller "carbine" style will allow the Eotech to hang forward more.

Thanks for the info! I bet i can pick up a carbine as a take-off from someone that has gone high tech.
