It's all you need for an SPR or whatever rifle. There are other options like Douglas 18" from Fulton, Bravocompanyusa 18", and Rainier Arms Ultra Match but they all perform about the same.

As far as other parts go that's up to you. Midwest, YHM, Troy they all work but the PRI and Daniel Defense are better overall. Just depends on what you want to spend.

Check these out. Guaranteed 1/2 MOA.
Accuracy Systems builds an accurate AR15 Period! At Accuracy Systems we prefer the hands on approach to building your rifles.

Also have a gander at their AR10 line. Decent guns. Of course you're paying more than if you were to build it, but you're also getting a pretty good guarantee. I have no personal experience with this seller, nor am I associated with them in any way. Just something I came across a while back.

          What brand of AR-15?
          Barrel length?
          ^Stainless steel or chrome lined?
          Brake?
          Bull barrel?
          Optics?

          Any thoughts appreciated.
If you want accuracy, do away the chrome lined. I prefer 16" LW50 stainless steel 1:8 twist heavy barrel with a good brake. If you want to tack drive it, get an 8x or 10x scope. LW50 is the next step up from 416R.

Could it be any clearer? Any law that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms is a violation of the Second Amendment and is unconstitutional.

You can piece together a whole upper at rainier arms andd have them assemble it. A few members highly reviewed their ultra match barrels, but to save a few bucks, rainier themselves told that most shooters won't see the difference. Put it on one of their upper recievers, get a JP handguard, you'll stay below your budget.
