    AKMS underfolder pinned stock

I got that AKMS underfolder which is pinned open from henderson defense. I'll be headed to Arizona for a shoot me and my buddies/family do (most of them live out there). Does anyone know how to take the pin out to make the stock functional? (wanna make it as evil as I can, dont want to take that much of a beating). Thanks in advance.

How is the stock fixed? I've seen clamps, extra long pins, welds, and even a pop rivet through the little barrel to keep the button from moving.

There; a matter of one minute:

All you'll need to access the aluminum bracket is to remove the dust cover & the recoil spring!

      .... Happy shooting in AZ!

All I was told was that the stock is pinned, not welded. I'll post up a pic of it. I don't have that aluminum bracket. The button u push to fold it won't depress all the way.

That bracket is inside, bracing the stock's rotary buffer tube from inside, take off the dust cover and the recoil spring, you should see what's holding the tube in place!

OK, there's 3 pins holding that mechanism together. The pin closest to the button is the long pin. I'm not 100% sure of how they did it but I run an extra long pin through the receiver and into the grip. That keeps the button from being depressed and unlocking the folding mechanism. You'll need to swap that pin out with a shorter one. Those pins are 3mm diameter.

you have to press the pin into the receiver ( roughly about 2mm )

1st , you 'll have to located this pin by looking under the receiver where pistol grip sits . there should be holes on each side . none factory looking hole will have pin sticking out . just press that in about 2mm ( carefully not to push it all the way in ) . dont for get to put extended brake if u decide to keep it folded before you leave
