Remy M700 series or Savage FCP series. I am leaning toward the M700.

Ok, seems I have narrowed it down to the Rem and Savage.

I went to my local range today to shoot my pistols and they had a nice looking Remington 700 with a scope for $1850, it also had a bipod. The stock on this one looked much meatier than the SPS model. Anyway, seemed a bit overprices since the scope looked a bit cheap. As soon as I get that electronic return from uncle Sam I'll be buying one.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Howa, I'll look into it as well.

Now, anyone that owns a Savage had issues with the Accutrigger having issues with the sensitivy if you set the trigger too light?

          See this video:

That guy in that video isnt the smartest tool in the shed. What was happening in that video is what that sear is SUPPOSED to do. When you set the trigger to 2lbs or less, any jerk or bump can cause the trigger to go off, and without the sear, the gun goes bang when you dont want it to.

I have never had a problem with mine and I have it set to the lowers lbs possible. I love it and it breaks like glass!
