Keltec Sub 2000 Bullet button tool modification

So I got sick of looking around for something to use as a bullet button tool on my Sub2k. Here's what I did.

    You will need:
    1- Aluminum thumbscrew 8/32 thread
    1-8/32 tap and drill

1)Drill and tap the bullet button device.

2)Cut the thumbscrew to exactly the depth of the bullet button device.

3)Leave about 5 turns of the thread and file off the rest. This will help to guide the screw back into the slot you tapped and also keep the threads from getting damaged while pushing it into the bullet button. Plus you don't want to turn that thumbscrew forever to get it off.

    4) file edges smooth

VOILA! now you have a bullet button tool that attaches to the device, readily available.
(make a few of those thumbscrews, cause if you are anything like me..I will lose it)

    Nice!

Um...isn't the Sub-2000 a featureless rifle? (The foldability doesn't count as a feature, because the gun can't be fired while it's folded.)

      pistol grip makes it featured.
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

You can correct my spelling and grammar error anytime.
I welcome it. How else would I learn.

That, and it is under 30". I had to put a bullet button and stock extension on to get it to CA.

The SUB can be a featureless rifle...

sdukeric, nice job with the tool setup!
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I was looking into getting that wrap. But I don't think I will like the grip that it will give me. I like the ability yo wrap my hands around the grip. How's it feel for you?

I know you didn't ask me, but I also have a featureless and woul like to give u my opinion....

When I grab a non featureless ar, for some reason, I still hold it like I'm holding the featureless ar.... Thi just says that it's comfortable enough for you to forget its a featureless rifle....

With the light weight of the carbine, it's pretty easy to handle. I don't feel any less secure although I do hate having to deny that I have opposable thumbs just to use standard magazines. I just can't stand magazine locks.
