    Saiga-12 trigger problem

I know that this is the centerfire section but figured that there might be a few more people that would be able to help me out in this section than in the actual shotgun section. Anyways, here is what I posted in there.....

What's up guys. I bought a Saiga-12 a from a guy on here a few years back and had Cold War Shooters up in Highland, CA do the conversion for me. I live in San Diego so it was an over 2 hour drive each way to bring the gun over there. Anyways, once I picked it up I couldn't wait to shoot it. The first few rounds fired fine, but then it wouldn't cycle correctly. After some input from you guys on here, I put about 50 rounds of buckshot through it to break in the spring but I noticed that the actual problem was that every 3-5 shots, the trigger wouldn't reset and I would have to push it forward with my finger in order to fire the next shell. I called CWS awhile ago and they said that they would fix it, but I am in the military and never got around to driving all the way back up there to get it fixed. Since then, I believe that they have closed up shop. Anyways, I figure that it is just a simple spring problem but was hoping that there was somebody out here in San Diego that had the know how and is willing to help me out with getting this thing fixed. If not do you guys know of anyone that you can point me to for some help? Thanks.

Sounds like the hammer spring legs are falling of the trigger. The rear of the trigger has 2 fingers that the spring legs need to rest on. Many times one of those legs will fall off, most of the time it's the left leg that falls off. Just get a small pick or screwdriver and put it back on. A permenent fix is notch the trigger arms right where the legs touch.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

You can also change out the crappy factory spring for a better one.
