    My wife is hooked!

My Christmas/birthday present was a new (to me) LWRC M6A2 "American Sniper Edition" rifle. I have had a few opportunities to shoot it, but this was her first!

We were in Vegas and went to the range. I showed her how the rifle worked and then let her shoot it. Well, needless to say, I think she did just fine.

      Thanks,

That was at 50yrds. I had just set the scope (on a different target) for her and let her have at it.

Wish I could say the same about my wife. I took her shooting this past weekend, you know the romantic date where its just us two, shooting all sorts of calibers for 4 hours. But she got bored real quick, complained her shoulder hurt, couldnt even hold the AR or shotgun, said she was hungry, and tired, and thirsty and sleepy. So at the end of the day, she said she didnt have much fun.

                      Lame.

But as for you and your wife, definitely keep her!

Congrats. What did you think about Clark County Shooting Park? Wish my county would spend tax dollars building one like that around here.

                              vta,

The shooting park was very nice. Lots of space available. I am sure on a busy day, it would be too crowded, but they seemed equipped to handle lots of people. There were three separate areas. One for Shotgun, one for Rifle/Pistol and one for education. Each location had a building with clean bathrooms and courteous staff. The rifle/pistol range was well handled with a single entry/exit. There were three different max distance areas you could choose. All distances had permanent mounts for target stands (Which are included!).

Overall, this range was excellent. I will return many times. I would love to see more ranges like this open to the public.
