Hi,
recently bought a Rem700P LTR in TWS package. Can you guys help me to identify the trigger. It does not have groves, it is shiny polished metal, but it has no screws like X-Pro. It is very crisp, single stage, breaks about 3 lb (as far as can feel it).
I can open bolt with safety on. I believe the gun is past 2004 production because it came with Leupold VX-III Boone & Crockett reticle, that was introduced in 2004.
I know only Walker and X-Pro and neither match the description.
Btw, haven't shoot the gun yet, and it was never shot before. Concerned a bit by quality of base and rings, I identified those as Weaver Cross Lock Steel rings (around $25) and 2-pieces Weaver base ($8). Should I replace those with something more solid? It's weird to have a ~350 scope on base & rings that cheap.
