Took my dad out for a quick 300 round therapy session today. Took the new featureless AR I finished earlier this week, ran flawlessly with a combo of older Wolf steel and federal bulk from Wally World. I used some automotive grease for lube and shot the last 100 or so rounds as fast as possible (I was shooting, my dad was loading mags) no stoppages no failures, got it hot enough that it started getting a bit uncomfortable to hold due to the heat. I'm pleased with the performance, and happy I got the old man out and shooting for a bit.
