    If the 1x laser scope you refer to is some type of red dot scope, ie eotech or aimpoint, then the smallest dot size is the eotech at 1 moa. So the dot itself actually covers up a 1 inch area on the target at 100 yards. If aimpoint, they are in the 2-4 moa range, covering 2-4 inches of the target at 100 yards. Those certainly don't lend themselves to shooting 1/4" groups, unless you in fact really did mean 1/4 degree groups. ;-)
    Take care. The colts are nice carbines.

      I saw the CA-legal Colt M4 @ Pro Force today in Brea for $1099. $1500 seems high. Unless you're talking about a true-M4 carbine.
      I'm sure he's talking about the Colt SP6940CA

              You know, until today, that would have been my thinking exactly.

              However Colt and the DOD have put these assault rifles together so perfectly that the kids of today in the Army and the Marine Corps become expert riflemen with them immediately, right out of the box.

              And for about 500 yards, this gun/rifle is really perfect for these brave young kid soldiers.

              It's too bad that when we were in, they did not have them. For me, the M-14 or the M-60 was the ideal.

                              Really?

                              Just curious where you received this information from? Also, one thing Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Coast Guardsman, and Sailors hate is to be called kids.

                                Shoobee = Jukeboxx13?

                                There are no great men. Just great challenges which ordinary men, out of necessity, are forced by circumstance to meet.
