I'd guess optics with that type of grouping.

That's fantastic, particularly for an M1A. Have you modified it in any way? I've found that the Nosler Custom Match ammo gives my M1A the best groups, but I'm lucky to get .75 MOA -- guess I'll need to consider hand-loading! Way to go!

I got to shoot one of those tOday. Guy next to me at the range was admiring my ar so I said shoot it. Asked me if I wanted to shoot his m1a, I did and holy shiitake mushroom! Thing has a nice punch to it. It's on my list!

That's a really light load. I think I was using 44 grains when I loaded that bullet.

Have you chrono'd it? Has to be 2400 or less.

That is an awesome group. I took mine to the range Tuesday for a little bonding as it usually sits in the safe and I was thrilled with the way it shot. I have a Basset low mount and a high mount. With the low, I have to crank the rear sight down or it hits the scope.

Wont make it at 600 unless your a good wind doper.

But it will work at Chabot at the 200 meter 40 shot silouette match next sunday .

Dont loiter on the 100 yard line.

What, that is impossible! Everyone knows m1a's can't shoot better then 2-3 inches......................nice shooting!
