Help me make my TEXAS S&W AR, CA Legal...

Alright fellas, I was going to try to build an AR10 sometime this Spring but thought I would better start off my making my S&W MP15 Cali legal first.

Here is my the model I have Model M&P15 - MOE - Flat Dark Earth: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/w...layErrorView_Y

I need new 10rd mags or modify my current ones.

Also a bullet button??? What else...

Really is that it...new mags and a bullet button? Any recommendations on a bullet button? Is it reversable?

BB's are reversible, and can be removed-replaced with ease. As for the type, well they all function pretty much the same, so the choice is yours. I have a M&P AR and it was installed via a third party that S&W hired.

Yes your S&W AR is good to go with a 10 rnd mag and a bullet button mag release. A Raddlock mag release is a better choice IMO. Both are reversible.

It's pretty easy especially if you are using pmags, fill them up with 10 rounds with the base off mark it and drill in preferably with a unabit or similar on the front and add a rivet to have the follower stop at 10 rounds. If you ever want to undo it use a unabit to drill out the rivet head.
