I'm not that excited about the Tikka stock.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

The manufacturer seems to be enthralled with laminating different colors together to create a visual effect.

IMHO, the end result is just plain garish and ugly.

Are they accurate? I'm sure they are, but I'm not commenting on their functionaliy, only their visual assault on the senses.

It's a cool gun but the stock is not my cup-0-tea, and the bolt knob is plastic! and it is a cheap version of the Sako. Other than that I'm sure it is an awesome target rifle!

Yes, it is a cheaper version of the sako. With a stock in the same form factor, barrel off of the same assembly line, and a bolt knob that can be swapped in 30 seconds.
