    Tikka T3 Lite

I haven't owned a bolt rifle in quite a few years. I decided it was time to get one again and wanted to try something new. I bought a Tikka T3 Lite in .308. We took it out Monday and it's shooting 3/4" groups right out of the box. I'm very happy with a six pound sub MOA hunting rifle. I was using good quality factory ammo but I'm a little rusty. We will see how it does after I get my technique back.

Seems to be picking up a good following on this board and getting aftermarket support too.

    Congrats!

Poor man, now he is doomed .
You wont be able to shoot any other rifle, that what happened to me. Glass smooth action, crisp adjustable trigger, love Tikkas

        How much out the door?
None of my posts are serious or real, nothing I post is legal advice.

+1 here for a tikka. I have a 30-06 hunter. It's a tack driver, smooth as silk, great trigger, and its light as can be!!

            James,

That is exactly the setup I want for hunting. Are you still digging the VXR?

Love the woodpeckers, but you gotta put up a pic.

It's been sitting in my safe ever since my last hunt so I really haven't played with it much since. I will say that its held zero every time I had it out before the hunt though. We're planning a pig trip in a few months so I need to break her back out soon and work up a lead free load and I'm interested to see if it held zero on my plane ride home 2 months ago.

The tikkas are awesome...you already know that though A hunter would be a perfect complement to your current setup.

This is true! I have to hold back though since I just got another Nightforce for my Tikka...

I like the new Sporters too...
