What muzzle brakes are acceptable for featureless rifles.

I know the CA definition of a flash suppressor is pretty vague, but are there any brakes that are clearly not debatable as not being a flash hider.

I know if they are advertised as a flash hider is a big no go, but if it allows redirection of muzzle blast away from shooters field of view there could be problems.

The brakes I was wondering about were the SJC Titan comp, the JP Benny Cooley Comp, and the Surefire muzzle brake.

If it is not marketed or labled as a flash hider, it is fine. Simple as that

Jebus that Surefire brake is loud. Pretty sure that a closed front counts as a break, open front is a FH

I run the AAC mini brake on mine. Works great and I have used the the larger 2 port brake by AAC that's similar to the Surefire.
