I think that this is the right place to post this sooo, I wanted to know the bullet drop at certain ranges for a 22 inch m1a standard.

The ammo i need to know is for:
175 gr match FMJ-BT prvi
147 gr Q3130 winchester

If anyone can direct me to a chart or something that'd be great.

You need velocity out of your gun otherwise it's just guessing.

If you don't know the velocity, you need to post exactly what factory load that you are using or if you're handloading what the powder charge is.

the box of ammo you bought says an Approx FPS on it.

the only box I've seen do that is the hornady z-max, the privi and Q3130 i have don't say anything but the bullet weight

Jk, yeah, if you don't know the velocity, your results will be very different by the time your out around 400 and beyond. Try entering some data into here for a general idea,

Short answer: It depends on the velocity, air temp, humidity, barometric pressure and altitude.

You also need to enter your zero since this indicates how far up the bullet travelled before it started travelling back down. My scoped rifles have a hundred yard zero, so the bullet arcs up maybe a couple of inches to cross the horizontal plane at 100 yards, and it takes some further yardage before gravity reduces the climb velocity to zero. I've effectively got negative drop out to 250 or so -- depends on the rifle and caliber.

An educated guess for the 175 would be:

200m -0.7
300m -1.7
400m -2.8
500m -4.1
600m -5.6
700m -7.3
800m -9.2
900m -11.5
1000m -14.2

You can figure out your own FPS by shooting groups at 50yards, 100, 200 and calculating the drop. BUT, you must have a very accurate load, rifle and capable of shooting sub 1/2 MOA yourself. I used this method once when I did not have a chrony and got within 20fps of the actual speed.

Or you could just spend the $100 and get a basic chrony.

What do you need it for? For NRA match shooting, just about everybody will tell you how many clicks you need to get to 600. Anyway, you have to dial up for any load so it's always a matter of X clicks or X clicks plus 2 but you still have to click. The important part is how small the group, you can always center the shots with a sight adjustment.
Am I on track or are you asking something else? Sierra can give you the numbers, or you can look them up in the Sierra manual.

To go from 100 to 200yds, it's 1 or 2 clicks
from 200-300yds is 2-3 clicks more
from 300-600ys is 12-14 clicks

"2 for 200, 3 for 300, 12 for 600"

That will put you on paper for both of those loads. The 175 will probably end up being a minute or two higher. The iron sights are 1 minute clicks, so they aren't going to be all that different. When I was shooting a lot, my zero was good to about a minute given subtle changes in position and light conditions.
