    get rid of the buffer tube?

    Over at arf com they have an aniversery AR with a folding stock. How is that done?

    PS, idk about the legalities, i know a folding stock AR wont be legal here.

        a folding stock AR *could* be legal, you just need a fixed mag and something to keep it over 30"...

            If the overall length was over 30 inches it would be legal. 26 in Free America.

              It just gets rid of the gas inside the receiver.
              The ZM guns have springs on the side of the upper receiver, much like an Olympic OA93.
              With that type of receiver, you could run it direct impingement or gas piston operated.

                i was thinking more of a custom stock so i can use preban mags. something real conventional.
