Makes it easier for them to clean up the range with magnets. I think most outdoor ranges in LA wont, due to fire risk.

Are u serious? cause i just bought 900 rounds of XM855 i go to outdoor range where can i use them then?

Ill see if my out door range will let me use this. If not ill just save them for zombie apocalypse

Where are you located? It's mostly a Socal thing because it's dry and hot down here. The ranges don't want the bullets to spark against rocks and start brush fires. Some ranges forbid magnetic ammo year-round but some ranges do allow it during the winter months.
