The way I see it, it's just another part on your weapon that can go wrong. I don't need it anyways.

Until your trigger or hammer pin walks 1/8 of an inch out of your receiver and binds the mechanism. KNS type anti-creeps are simply cheap insurance. Instal and your done.

Magpul, Troy, Phase5 all are a must for a magazine locked rifle in my book.

I don't care which you choose. I used to say BAD was better only because I didn't like the fact Phase5 ripped off Travis Haley, thats water under the bridge now.

I own one. I love it for the same reason echoed above (at length)- locking the bolt is not a cluster ****.

Only downside i can see is that i have had a few bolt-forward on empty mag, and ninjas at the range tell me that the drag/weight of the BAD lever could be the culprit.

I've nicked knuckle trying to clip the sling on, otherwise perfect clearance. I had no idea even who made it, lol. I got it from Parallax Tactical because I had money to burn (25$) and a buddy had a single point sling. Didn't even have packaging, just hanging on a display hook with UPC sticker. They even put it on for free.

I rarely use it unless I'm out in the desert and want to keep it with me. I'm used to that kind of deployment because of cameras and using the RapidR strap (stock photo above). Btw, holding and actuating my camera with my left hand while holding something in my right is VERY difficult! Should have used tripod + remote...

Being a left hander, I like it. I run mine featureless, and it's nice to keep my hand on the grip while changing mags with my right thumb, then tapping the BAD Lever with the same thumb. I never have to flip my gun over or change the way I'm holding the rifle. So I dig it.

I can tell you when I fist got my IKH I love the look of it, but it eats the heck out of attachment points / anchors. (I'll send a picture)

Tried it. Got in the way and wasn't necessary. Took it off. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
