If you are one of the lucky ones that have a threaded muzzled barreled HK 45 pistol for a suppressor, then you will need to get a new standard barrel and replace the threaded barrel. The other alternative is to file off the threads or cut down the barrel to remove the threads.

if you like the outdoors, the SF area really isnt the place to live... Im in the process of becoming a gunsmith and the second i get my degree im running away from this place and never coming back (unless CA becomes a FREE state).

AK, TX, LA, and Montana are all places i plan on living in at one point or another in my life. i want to end up in AK though.

CA is not a place for gun owners. ive gone through over 20 NRA stickers in 6 months because people keep tearing them up and markering over them and ****. For how liberal the Bay area is, its the least accepting place ive ever lived, especially if your conservative... i absolutely hate it here.

But i hope this state treats you better than its treated me. Im CA native to the Los Angeles area (born in long beach and lived in beverly hills for the first 3 years of my life, then cameron park for another 2-3, then el dorado hills (sierra foothills), and now Walnut Creek. I have never felt comfortable living in CA, for as long as i can remember.

Good luck with your move! the sunsets on the west coast kick the crap outta the east. seeing the sun setting over water is the trippiest thing (aside from the northern lights) it looks like the sun is going underwater. make sure you hit ocean beach for the bonfires and sunsets. the place is infested with hippies and bums but the view at night is just, well... you have to see it for yourself. also go to Grizzly peak Rd for a sunset, it will keep you coming back. went there almost every day durring high school for sunsets there. its really something else being able to see all of Berkely, Oakland, and San Fran in the same view, along with the bay bridge, the golden gate bridge, angel island, and even alcatraz. best view of the bay BY FAR. seeing those lights at night really make an impression. i know they did on me.
