Not looking to drop 2k on something like a rangefinder but I do want a solid one for 1000-1200 yards. Any recommendations?

Try the Zeis PRF, order from scott at Liberty Optics, I believe he still has the 10% promotion going on, so $599 - 10% will get you the best LRF for around $500.Comment

If you wat to consistantly range all types of things at 1000 yards, you'll need at least a 1500 yard one. If you just want to range more reflective items, then a 1000 yard one might do.
