    bushy free float removal/rail covers

im trying to swap out the bushmaster free float with a quad rail. is there a trick to this or am i retarded? it appears to be a simple twist off unit with nothing to interfere with the gas tube. could it just be its to tight?

is there a way to add rail covers to the tube? can i add rails to the tube using the slots provided?

Just push down on the delta ring and pull on each piece (top/bottom) of the plastic handguard. You want to pull them from the delta ring side, not the handguard cap.

I dont know how BM attaches their tubes, but I would heat it up because I bet they used loc-tite on it. Also look VERY VERY close and make sure there isnt a small set screw locking the tube. It will be flush and may even have been painted / coated over.
