    A2 birdcage on SU-16CA legal?

I cannot find any direct information about installing an A2 flash hider on a Kel Tec SU-16CA. I read the flowchart and the fact that it comes with a folding (cannot be fired folded) and collapsible stock, it does not require a BB.

My brother just got one of these rifles and I wanted to get him some 10/20 Pmags and a cheap muzzle device for xmas. I wanted to be sure before I bought it, that it did not trigger the need for a BB.

    Thanks in advance!!!

No, if you added the flashhider, it would no longer be featurless like it is now and it would require a bullet button. Stick to a compensator.

      Flowchart

      Question #9 = No
      Question #10 = Yes
Question #12 = That answer would depend on if you attached the flash hider or not.

Attaching a flash hider would be a "Yes" on question #12 and therefore illegal under 12276.1
You think you know, but you have no idea.
