So for my birthday last month my girlfriend and cousin went half and bought me a winchester ranger (I totally didn't expect). When I went to register the rifle my cousin came to a great deal on a winchester model 94. They are pretty much identical . Can anyone tell me the difference between the two ?

A Ranger is a 94. It's the base model. Finish isn't as nice, the wood is cheaper, etc.
Mechanically they're the same.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
