will overlubing oil in the barrel cause rilfe to be inaccurate? my brother borrowed my rifle the other day and took it to the range, took it back home and cleaned it, threw it in my safe. today i took my rifle(AK74) out of the safe and noticed that there was excessive oil on the handguards and onto my reciever, even my gas piston was over lubed. i didnt really think anythning of it, wiped it off(only on the outside) and took it to the range and could not get any of my shot on target(did not bring my sight tool). what the heck!! kinda bummed now. im shooting irons, and my brother said he didnt mess with sight at all. as soon as i got home i immediatley cleaned my rifle but i wont get a chance to go to the range again until next week
. what do you guys think?
