    Full Auto 10/22

They say you learn something new everyday... I for one just did because I never knew someone made a full auto 10/22. I for one would still spend the money on an RDIAS or an HK sear.

Pretty much all 10/22's are full auto if you use the wrong ammo

I always really wanted a full auto 10/22. That was until I got my AR-22. Now I want a M16 lower to shoot .22 full auto. Dang I hate this state.

I've seen some video's online of some interesting full auto converted 10/22's that were dealer samples. As near as I could tell, they simply took a muzzlelite stock and an electronic paintball firecontroll group and mounted the electronics inside the stock so that it was a variable rate/programable burst gun. I think it tooka bout 200$ worth of over the counter parts...

If the 86 ban was lifted tomorrow, I suspect a large number of new full auto guns would have electornic rate controll systems. the paintball guys already know how the electronic FCG's work.

The one pictured is a John Norrell conversion group. You can tell by the anti-bounce weight and the fact that it fires from a closed bolt. There are a handful of other conversions out there but most are open bolt or don't use the anti-bounce weight.

John Norrell had the foresight to mass produce his units and then store them. He releases a handful or so every year for ~$10k a piece. Not a bad investment.

If it were a legal option I'd rock a full auto 10/22 with a 100 round magazine.

            After all, it's only .22LR
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

Waaaaaaaay back when (late 80's) I had the pleasure of attending several of the "Best in the West" SWAT competitions held at the Santa Clara SO's range. There was a dealer from Calico there once that had selectfire versions of the .22 and the 9mm carbines for demo purposes. Remember Calico? Funky helical drum magazines? Held either 50 or 100 rounds?
Man, a hundred round full auto .22 is the cats meow. You can write your name with it in the dirt. Stupid fun.

I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.
