What's out there other than an A2 for a featureless build?

There's nothing to stop you from using a carbine (M4 style) stock on it as long as you pin it so it will not telescope or collapse as designed. Pick anything from the menu and just pin it.
Use a MM grip or grip wrap.

They're a little on the pricier side but the Magpul PRS stocks are pretty awesome, if you shop around you can definitely find them a little cheaper or possibly find a good used one. I'm going to be slapping one of these on my 6.8 SPC build.

Many thanks to CGN for helping to educate me, keeping me out of trouble, and for showing that not everyone in Cali is a lost cause there are a lot of good sane people.

              +1 for the Vltor

I bought the A2 about a month ago and it's great!
It's lighter than an A1 or A2 stock, plus the cheek weld adapters make long range shooting very comfortable.
