    Registration

I bought my AR15 out of state in 2005 and recently moved back to Calif. will it be a problem registering it here? It's a RRA LAR-15

Long guns are not registered in California (at least, until 2014).

Since it isn't on this list
    Rock River Arms, Inc.
    Standard A-2
    Car A2
    Standard A-4 Flattop
    Car A4 Flattop
    NM A2 - DCM Legal
    LE Tactical Carbine
it seems it is not a California 'assault weapon'.

You need a magazine lock, e.g. bullet button, for it before it crosses into California, because if it accepts removable magazines (what the mag lock fixes) it cannot have folding stock or pistol grip or flash suppressor - that would make it an 'assault weapon' by features.

Importing an 'assault weapon', whether 'named' or 'by feature', is a felony. I'm sure you wouldn't do that.

Any mags > 10 rounds have to be disassembled, and not re-assembled in CA unless blocked to 10 rounds.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
