questions about Saiga 5.45 parts

on the bottom of the rifle, just before the plastic handguard there is a flathead screw. What is this for? Also, underside of the rifle again, right side, at end of trigger guard, there is a flat "lever" that pushes in and out of the FCG. What is that for?

another note, wanted to spend some money so i real quick bought a 5th Gen. Side mount and a Tactedge 4X32 Mini CQB just for sh1ts and gigs... sightin' sunday.

+1 only saiga's that have any reason to have th BHO are the shotguns.
