New Ammo --

There's a new company named Setpoint ammunition that allows you to "roll your own" precision target ammo -- they'll build the loads to your specs -- just got two boxes to try out --



I asked for 168 grain Hornady AMax bullets in Lapua .308 brass filled with 44 grains of Varget powder loaded to an OAL of 2.8"



Must scope one of my .308 bolt guns and try them out.

Price: $36 dollars per 20 round box (for the specific load I requested -- . For "Custom" ammo not too high. At this point I think they are only making .308 --

Interesting idea. I wonder what they do if someone asks for a load that exceeds SAMMI specs? My best long range .308WIN load is exactly that, right on the edge of the pressure gradient and not something I would ever sell.

They have options -- they are not open ended in powder charge, etc., I would love to hear how they shoot in your hands, Brando.
