    Lets play 'identify the stock!'

    Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I've been having a lot of fun and surprisingly good shooting with a used Norinco SKS para I picked up this year, and I've decided to finally figure out who on earth made the polymer stock it came with. It's not great or anything, it just works, curiousity you know. I checked the logo to some old norinco 80s polymer exports but no matches. All #'d parts on this rifle ARE matching but this stock is definitely aftermarket. Maybe one of you fine folks recognize it, not the shape, the maker.

So I submit for your inspection the picture below, with the following notes..

    1. The full rifle pictured is how I found it in the shop, sans the new forehand grip.
    2. The SKS1950 picture is in the barrel side of the polymer, only seen when disassembled. Not the year, obviously. This part number might be recognizable to some. Google is awefully irrelevant when typing 'sks 1950' and hoping for some chinese polymer part. tula tula tula.
    3. Swirly logos on the bottom and back of the butt stock. Someone's seen this before.

Thanks for your time and curiosity everyone, appreciate the answers.

That logo on the stock looks like Ramline to me. Of course I could be horrifically wrong...

if you replace parts like that do you still need to follow 922r?

or no because its still in a "sporting" configuration?

I asked that too Mossy, since the thing came used with the polymer stock. Many verifications to what triggs said^
